Another decent, but not a knock-your-socks-off brew by MH. Poured a deep dark brown color, some mahoganey edges. Nice initial tan head that left really nice lacing rings on the glass. Aroma was of coffee and roasted malts. The flavor was of coffee, roasted light chocolate, some licorice, and something else I couldn't identify. Pretty decent, not outstanding. Typical for MH, one of the better flavor for your dollars brewers out there.

Pours a very dark brown, almost black with a very thin tan head. Aroma is sweet caramel, roasty coffee, chocolate, and smoky charcoal. Flavor starts smooth and sweet, with smoky notes, then turns a bit dry and a little astringent before finishing with lighly burnt dark chocolate and charcoal. Mouthfeel is overall a bit thin and maybe too dry in the finish. No bad, but there are plenty of better porters out there.

Poured a dark brown color with a small, tan head that left light lacing on the glass. Aroma of mocha, chocolate, roast, and light vanilla bean. Taste of rich chocolately malt, light vanilla, and a dry roastiness. I hope it tastes this decent, if they decide to bottle it.
