I sampled this not knowing what to expect and I was Surpirsed actally, a lot of hop aroma which is kind of overpowering, I like the hop aroma low but i was sampling. A good beer to drink but I have had better.

The ale itself is a bit thick looking, it looks just like caramel with bubbles rising to the top very slowly. The mouthfeel is good, flavor is a sweet/sour mix with toasty malt finish. Overall, pretty good, but, I've had better

Nice amber color with small to medium sized head. Malty aroma typical of Vermont ales. Taste is lightly hopped with a sour tang to it. Mediocre at best.

Simple, I really liked this one. Not knowing what to expect with this mystery beer I was plesantly surprised. It pours a dark copper color with an off white frothy head that dissolves to a thick ring with large bubbles on the surface. The aroma is mainly hops; pine, grass, and citrus with a hint of toasted malt. Each sip of this medium bodied brew is smooth and silky on the palate. Hops dominate the beginning of the sip with flavors of pine and lemon. Caramel and toasted malt flavor blend in towards the middle and it finishes with some malty sweetness. A mild hoppy bitterness is left behind. This is a well balanced great tasting, easy drinking beer. I only wish I could find it outside of the Magic Hat 12 packs and that it was produced year round.
