Clear brown with almost no foam at all. Aroma of cream, toffee, nuts, caramel with a spicy undertone. Nutmeg, pepper, caramel in flavou. Creamy mouthfeel. Floral aftertaste with buttery undertones.

Dark ruby red colour, small white head. Fresh fruity, very refreshing aroma. Strong hoppy, quite dryish flavour. Also some barley or similar is present. Strong hoppy aftertaste.

Malty with a little of the usual christmas spices.A little sweet for my tastes.Nothing fantastic seems like another letdown from this years winter brews.

Another new one for me this year. And to be honest, I was quite impressed by this one. I think they used an obscure yeast (German wheat? Belgian?) and/or fermented fairly warm, since there are definate banana&clove-like esters here (that are normally only associated with german-style hefeweizens). Beleive it or not, this works for me, as a festive seasonal ale. A very even balance of malt & hops, with enough body and mouthfeel to make it worth your while to savor and enjoy. An interesting and enjoyable offerering with a different and tasty twist. //TB

Medium brown color. Small quickly disappearing head. Aroma is very faint, but it a mix of malts, yeasts and fruit.A medium bodied ale. Malts are slightly sweet and a little fruity. Hops are mild. Fairly sweet and somewhat fruity, with all the usual winter ale spices. Hints of vanilla. Really lacking in any carbonation. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly sweet.

12 oz brown glass bottle. Very lively pour, well carbonated, decent head retention and lacing. Smells like a big barleywine, but the color is surprisingly light and clear reddish brown. Big malt aroma in this brew. The taste is also surprisingly different from expectations based on smell. There are hints of cherries and spices in the malt. Lighter in body than expected, but the bubbles make it quite lively. Finishes sweet and tingly, with a drying and warming alcohol presence. Nice fireplace beer!

pours a nice clear brown with garnet accents..lovelly tan head .goes fast to leave gorgeous lacing lovelly looking ale. Great scent to the beer spice and caramel malts..fresh. Good taste also..starts with fresh malty sweetness followed by lemony citrus flavour,,and a spruce like briskness..bitter hop finish. pretty good on the palate not too heavy. I liked this beer a lot..had it last year..this is better..good attempt

Not much to say about this beer. It poured with a small head that left quickly. The aroma was somewhat fruity with a hint of spice. The appearance was a cloudy brownish amber. The mouthfeel was subtle and a bit malty. The flavor was malty to start with a hint of fruit and chocolate in the middle and finish also a note of alcohol was detected near the end. Could be better.

Nothing special here. Ok flavor with a nice bite to the back of the throat that lingers. Went down fairly well, however I got a gut ache afterwards that usually does not happen. As far a any spice to this, I could not detect any.

This is proclaimed to be a Bavarian style Dunkel Weiss Bock with some spiciness. It has a nice amber color with a modest head. Tastewise,it is good, but nothing special. It is rather thin for the style, not very malty at all and only a faint hint of spice right at the end of the finish. Easy to drink, but no big deal.
