I am drawn to GABF beers, makes me feel like I'm there. Here (Roscoe's taphouse, Portland, OR) or there (GABF), this beer is... mediocre. The aroma is great, nice west coast hoppiness. The taste in not near as lovely, quite boring, with a fairly unfortunate finish. Worst tasting great smelling beer I know of. Or if you prefer: Wonderfully dry-hopped, terribly brewed beer.

Smells malty, sweet, carmelly, slight wet cherry cigar and rain. Taste is watery hops, thin mouth, its ok, but the night had far superior offerings so I moved on. Glad I just got a sampler.
