Poured a tawny colour, big thick head, solid retention, boy that beer look good.A pale ale deluxe i would say, very floral and fruity, almost an IPA but really a perfect dosage of malt and hopps to be a great pale ale;could compete Sierra Nevada pale ale.

Purchased at the Dépanneur de la Rive in Cap-Rouge, Quebec. Pours a hazy rich amber colour with a nice big creamy off-white head. Its retention is excellent and its lace is thick and chuncky. A 5mm layer of cream also stays on top of the brew. The tiny bubble carbonation is quite active. The nose is very nutty, with caramel malt, mild chocolate, coffee and a bit floral. Oily mouthfeel and very smooth. The taste is lightly bitter in the middle with some coffee finish and smooth caramel in the aftertaste. Quite an interesting, well-brewed, pale ale.
