The beer pours a solid black colour with a little bit of viscosity. Head is light brown, bubbly, but short lived. There is some nice lacing. The aroma is Neapolitan ice cream as soon as you open the can. Within a minute or two, the aroma settles into roasted malt, dark chocolate, and a hint of berry fruitiness. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with average carbonation. The flavour is a two pronged effort with both the roasted malt and sweet berry flavours attacking the tongue. There is some nice bitterness in the finish. Overall, a good beer!
