Burnt orange body with no cap just a bubble ring hugging the glass, it’s a beautiful looking beer to bad it has no crown but what do you expect at 10%. Aroma is of wood and stink with some pool water, wheaty type malts and a alcohol spice. Taste is much of the same witha very heavy malts taste a big alcohol finish, apple and spice do show up but that much. I can drink this, it’s not like I hate it and it evens seems to be of a high quality I just think this style is not for me.

pretty good! seems light and refreshing after that barleywine~ But indeed its got some balls to it. A fragrant taste of sweet wheat, grass fields, drunken meadows. A bit a peppery spyce, just enough hops to balance the sweet crumbly cookie malts. Pale, mellow flavors, Not overdone.

A soft pour produces a three-finger thick, lightly tanned head in my 25cl tulip glass. The beer is a clear honey color that shows a bright copper color when held up to the light. The aroma smells of honey-like malt, spicy clove and phenols, perhaps a touch of stale grain (though not really oxidized at this point) and a hint of fruitiness in the form of light lemon and green apple notes. The aroma is fairly average overall.
Lightly sweet and grainy tasting up front, a bit of phenolic spiciness quickly kicks in though to add a bit more dimension to the beer. The phenolics lean towards clove, but also provides a touch of light plastic. This has a general spiciness to it that contributes notes of lemon pepper, slight ginger and a touch of higher alcohols that provide a touch of warmth to the finish. This has a soft grain character to it that is one of the more prominent flavors. This finishes with a touch of hop bitterness in addition to the more noticeable phenols and higher alcohols. Fairly light bodied for a beer of this strength, though it is right in line with the lightness contributed by wheat.
Despite having a fair amount of flavors & aromatics, the mix just seems to be a bit lackluster somehow. The impact of this beer is pretty soft overall and while this is fairly appropriate for a wheat beer (even an Imperial one), this just doesn't quite seem to work for me. Interesting beer and pretty good but not quite as strong as I was expecting. The color is a bright gold. Aroma is banana, cloves, yeast and some spicy hops. The flavor starts with some banana, yeast and some vanilla then spicy citrus hops. However, it's rather easy drinking and refreshing, which I have no problem with, but I was expecting more of a kick. Other than a minor alcoholic sour note in the finish the abv is masked very well. A good beer for sure but not the easiest to find and there are so many good beers out there to fill this purpose I may have just enjoyed my one and then forget about it.

Bottle from SL. Pour was pale golden, slight haze to cloudiness, ok head, but weak for a weiss beer (although it was higher abv), diminishes fairly quickly, weak to no lacing. The aroma was stale wheat, slight bananas. The flavor followed suit, rather uninspiring, not enough spicing at all. Mouthfeel was typical for a weisse, not much heavier given the higher strength, weak carbonation, at least the alcohol wasn't sharp. Snore.

Poured a golden color with nuge head. ARoma was very wheaty something else in there a spice. Flavor was tons and tons of wheat and cloves, the banans didn't make it through. Dry finish to it. Not bad at all.

Bottle: Poured a bright golden color ale with a big foamy white head with good retention. Aroma of dry wheat is pretty intense and interesting. Taste is also dominated by wheat with a dry finish. Not a lot of banana and cloves notes are discernable thought. Body is slightly above average with some adequate carbonation and no alcohol is discernable. Overall, this is way more interesting then the brewery usual offering but still not as complex as expected.

Limited edition,as we say in french bière de saison is quite excellent;as good as european ones....Cloudy orange, head disappearing quickly it has an aroma of ripe fruits, also spicy and fruity flavor with alcohol well hidden i can't wait for the next generation...This brewery i think will bloom over the next few years...

Bottle: Poured a a clouded, spritzy amber ale with a large fluffy cap into my weizen glass....modest retention on the cap but it reduces to a surface lace the clings to the glass. Decent effervescence appears to natural from bottle conditioning Definitive aromas of ripe bananas, musty-yeasty bread and woody hops ( very nice!) Rich malted wheat backbone, creamy mouth feel, medium bodied and bready-fruity in character Rich mouthfull of non-cloying banana bread up front...absolutely glorious!...layered tones of spice ( clove, cinnamon) and delicate fruits in the middle fuse with wonderful herbal/woody Franconian noble hopping.... lightly drying in the finish which is punctuated with bubblegum-salted taffy tones mixed with medicinal bittering.....bready after taste. This is a brewed nectar that hides its substantial alcohol almost completely. I love this more substantial weizen!!! Probably the best brew from this brewer and certainly a brew that cinches them as my favorite Quebec micro brewer.

Written 2006 on top of the logo on the front label. Pours a cloudy beige-amber colour with a nice white head that dissipates slowly and leaves a good creamy lace ring. Mild banana bread aroma with wtibier yeast and caramel malt. Watery mouthfeel with no burn. The taste is a mix of grains and cloves, with the bananas in the background and a touch of vanilla. Pretty good brew, but now have to wait a long time for the 2007 edition.
