pours a Beautiful golden amber color. Bright and clear, the others would do well to copy this inviting appearance. The aroma was somewhat muted caramel sweetness. Absolutely no off notes of any sort with an inviting offer of drinkability. The taste was much like the aroma but richer with more depth. Some hop presence mid palate that recedes by the finish which is clean, quick, without a hint of bitterness of roasted malt or hops, and a slightly lingering note of malt richness. The aftertaste actually improves on the flavor. The mouthfeel was medium bodied with ample carbonation.

aroma of malt and a sweetness with a bit of corn and dryness. Pours a light orange brown color with some head. Great light body with good carbonation and a very smooth finish. Light malty flavor with some corn and wheat on the back.not a complex flavor.

Pours out a clear copper color with a good tan head. The aroma is light and of spice and malt. The mouthfeel is just a tad above average. The taste is mild and clean but lacking in flavor like all beers I've had from Leinenkugel. It's not bad but should be a better beer for someone who doesn't drink complex beer.

Aroma is malty and crisp with a yeasty undertone and a hint of fruit. It pours a nice dark golden amber with a fairly thick head that dissipates fairly quickly. Flavor is malty, but that is about it - the taste is strong, but not complex. Texture is rough and a little fizzy.

I was very impressed by this awesome Marzan from Leinenkugel. When i found out it was produced stateside, iwas a little questioning the intergity of the brew. I enjoyed this brew. Opening to a nice aroma of balance hops and a malty undertone. In the mouth it was light and nice with a great "crunch." Tast was jsut as a Marzan should tast like. Smooth easy an refreshing as hell. I wish we can find the rest of the brew styles from this company in Hawaii.

A better octoberfest, but not outstanding. Bready, amber in color, yeastier as it warms up. Head stays on top a little longer. A great session octoberfest but definitely needs a better logo.

A nice enough Oktoberfest lager, but it doesn't do a thing to separate itself from the field. Bready malt aroma, the typical good looking pour, decent feel, but not full, rich or flavorful enough to really take notice.

Probably Leiny's strongest ability, German style lagers. This is by no means a front runner of the class but it is one of their better beers. Nice looking decent flavor, a good lager, but again, not a front runner of the class.

Not too bad for a mass produced oktoberfest. I guess. It got a few details right. Pours thin, though. Looks like an oktoberfest. Orange color with a frothy head. Grainy taste. Metallic finish.

Meh ... I had this back to back with the Sammy Adams Octoberfest and I think I like the Sammy's better. The Sammy's is boozier/hotter and the Leine's is maltier. I dig the booze over the malt. It's a personal thing. That being said, it is a more than respectable American representation of the style.
