Traditional Helles-style beers tend to be a tad malty. Leinenkugel’s® Hoppin' Helles™ is our spin on the style that puts it a bit on the hoppy side with five all-American hops. It starts bright and citrusy with a nice tropical aroma that ends with a tangy spice finish.

This is about on par for Leinenkugel quality. I prefer the Sunset Wheat over this. A little off-balance in flavor. Most characteristics average or just average at best. There are better out there in this style, pilz, or other summer beers to sample.

Sunshine yellow-orange in color. A big sudsy textured off white head rises briefly above. There's a light low lying film and thin ringlet left behind. The profile is a bold blending of grassy hops with a faint hint of citrus and sweet caramel malt.

Light golden yellow pour with a medium size white foamy head. Fair amount of lace on the glass. Floral and citrus taste with a subtle hop presence and caramel malt. Overall a decent beer.
