Courtesy of pfoxyjohn. Pours a light, slightly hazy pale yellow with a thin head and jsut a little lacing. Some carbonation. Aromas of a little wheat, some fruitiness - oranges, bananas - some pepper and a very slight floral. Taste is smooth and a little tart with a slight orange, banana, clove and pepper to it - like a Belgian ale only lighter.

Went through a sixth-barrel of this 2 summers ago but didn't want to review it from memory. From the bottle, poured a pale yellow color with a thin, bubbly white head that faded fast leaving little lacing. Fresh nose of spice - coriander and clove - and fruit - lemon and orange. A smooth, fairly full mouthfeel with a most pleasant taste of grain surrounded with moderate spiciness - more spice than fruit, but not overwhelmingly so. A firm, full finish that turns slightly sour/bitter. More fully-flavored than usual for the style perhaps (thinking this is a Witbier, not a Saison), but appropriately assertive and not exaggerated in my estimation. Wonderful. Picked up my first Lake Louie brew yesterday at Riley's in Madison, and I'm glad it was this one! A very pale, hazy yellow pour with a minimal, rapidly fading head and virtually no lacing, but its failings in appearance are overcome by its spicy aroma and silky smooth mouthfeel. Peppery notes in the flavor, along with a multitude of other spices and bright yellow fruit. An excellent, refreshing beer, which I'll get more of on future visits to see my son at UW.

Excellent brew! Poured a cloudy orange body, with a generous white head. Aroma is delightful, soft spice- perhaps white pepper, orange peel and other citrus fruit. Great see-saw balance between wheat and spice.

This pours a hazy yellow. The aroma is a heavily spicy orange. Really good stuff. It probably beats out the 3F Rabbid Rabbit I had in the same tasting.
