This is an absolute steal at $6.00 a bomber. This beer is chock-full of vanilla in both the aroma and flavor with a fair amount of residual sweetness left to help the vanilla flavor really deliver. Sweet, marshmallowy vanilla, light roast and a good showing of cocoa. Reminded me of a sugar coffee at Starbuck's in some ways. I personally enjoy my porters and stouts to be sweet, so this was fine for me. A solid beer. -

Pours a deep blackish sable with a decent light tan head. Smoky aroma has notes of coffee, chocolate, molasses and vanilla, fairly sweet but far from cloying. Mouth-filling flavor has a roast malt core and notes of burnt coffee, chocolate and vanilla plus a hint of molasses. It is not as sweet as the aroma, which is fine because I am not overly fond of sweet beers. Firm texture has little fizz, but leaves a decent finish.

A mahogany colored beer with a small foamy textured light tan head. There's not much hang time, but settles into a medium sized ringlet. Deep notes of chocolate and caramel in the nose. A well chosen chocolate is evident as an adjunct in the tasting. Light bodied, well carbonated. I'm thinking this one would work well as another ice cream-beer float.

Had this at the Brew’s Best Beer Fest on my trip to Vegas, fall 2011. Pours a dark brown with not much of a head. Caramel, coffee and chocolate aromas. Wet mouthfeel that is medium-bodied. Watery taste that is milder than the smell. Notes of chocolate, coffee and roasted malts. Refreshing for a porter and easy drinking.

Pours a good sturdy porter style dark brown, Great toasty bready flavor. There is a definite aroma of vanilla, but not much in the flavor of the brew, so the vanilla flavor is there but you have to think about it for a while! Enjoyable would purchase it again if it came my way

pours fairly thick and nearly black, thinner on the palate than it looks. strong aroma of vanilla (which may be scaled back in the final product), roasted & chocolate malts. smooth as hell, light-medium bodied. flavor much the same. the vanilla dominates but not overly so. goes down way too easy, and disappears way too fast.
