From Trader Joe in Vegas. Pours a clear amber colour with a warm cap, decent retention and lacing. Aromas are very sweet with loads of caramel with a little hops. These are a little more present in the taste... at first, but then the caramel comes back. Luckily not as sweet as the nose, but still a little too rich to be a good IPA.

Aroma is not particularly strong, and is more fruity and floral than hoppy. It pours a clear dark orange amber with a thick and fluffy ivory head. Flavor is fairly hoppy and woody with a sweet fruity overtone, almost no bitterness. Tastes more like a regular ale than an IPA. Smooth texture has firm body and a little bit of tingle. Fair to middlin’, but still worth a fair shake.

Dark amber color with a tiny cap that quickly fizzles to a thin ring. Surpisingly sugary orange aroma with a little bread. Quite bready flavor, a littly grapey, too. Just doesn't taste like an IPA. Thin and wet. I prefer this to swill, but it's best enjoyed if one ignores the name and style.

Amber color with decent head. A little light, not too much retention. Aroma isnt very hoppy,a little unpleasant. Almost like old hops. Flavor was most disappointing - decent pale malt backbone but a sour, unpleasant hop flavor dominated. No citrus, spiciness or floral, earthy hops - just sour bitterness, and some alcohol in the finish.Mouthfeel was fine. Not too drinkable due to the poor flavor.

A nice amber colored beer with a big frothy textured white head. There was some hang time in the head retention. Settles into a thick ringlet. Light grassy hops in the nose. Same grassy, floral hops in a bath of sweet bready malt. Not as intense as other IPAs but nice enough.

Poured clear amber with a tight white head and all requisite IPA aroma(s) in decent order. Oddly slick in the mouth with a nasty little aftertaste. Flavor was flat and wholely unimpressive. Drank 3 in VA and packed the other 3 up and brought them home... shoulda left 'em.

hadn't seen the ipa before. kinda excited. kinda. not expecting greatness...but a single is less than a soda! a decent amount of floral hops (this is an east coast ipa after all) atop a thinnish malty background. pleasant, if not spectacular. pretty much what you'd expect and nothing less.

Not a bad offering from this brewery. Found these at my local Trader Joe's and I really enjoyed the blueberry beer quite a bit, so I was hoping this beer would be equally as good. After drinking a few, it's clear that it lacks the WC hop punch that I love about a great IPA, but it's not fair to compare those two so in it's own right, this is a nice drop of beer.
The beer pours out a medium-dark orange copper color, clear with a nice two-finger head without much staying power. Aroma is restrained tropical fruit, and light pine. Flavors had that minimalist approach, and it worked well for this beer. Medium sweetness, floral hop approach with some soft pine accents. Very drinkable, as I put down 3 of them in about an hour. -

A friend of mine brought these to a Super Bowl party. Looks great: a darker copper color than I would have expected, but great laing and great head retention. Smells like flowery hops. Has just the slightest undertones of malts, some strong hoppy bitterness. A little orange zest, a little caramel. As it warmed, I started to taste grapes, plums and pepper, which sounds absurd (at least it does to me). Very drinkable, and a great IPA to share with some friends.

This brew pours a clear amber colour with a small white head. Weak hops aroma with a little grapefruit. taste is a little watery and weak for an IPA but decent nonetheless. needs a little work.
