Een Rotterdamse Pale Ale gedryhopt met de Amerikaanse hopsoorten Citra & Mosaic. Karel is fruitig in de neus met passievrucht, grapefruit en op de achtergrond een zweem van hooi en citrus. De verfrissende fruitige smaken eindigen in een licht bittere en dorstlessende afdronk. En om het nog mooier te maken: dit bier is GLUTENVRIJ!

Aug. 2021: 330 ml can, at Grand Café-Restaurant Loos, Rotterdam. ABV is 4.5%. There is a picture of Karl Marx on the can. Deep golden to orange colour, large white head. Reasonably citric aroma and flavour, hints of passionfruit, on a background of sufficient malts. Refreshing. Went well with my chicken satay.
