A robust, rugged amber ale that does its name proud. From J.T.'s tap, pours a clear reddish-copper color with a billowy white head that dissapates rapidly. The nose is spicy and lively with robust malt aromas. Full mouthfeel; flavors are hot caramel with hints of sweet burnt nuts and a nice hop balance. The bittersweet finish is quite tasty! MUSIC: 'Wild Packs of Family Dogs' by Modest Mouse; "Now they'll receive their rewards, now they will receive their rewards" and 'Frozen Gtr' by Thurston Moore; "Frozen guitar next to yr sweet lamp, Melting sweetheart in yr ivory hand"

Now this was more like it! I liked this a lot better than the badger. Pours a pleasent shiny copper body with a large frothy head. a oaky taste, with a hint of red peppers and sausage. No lie! a good packer game day brew.
