This delicious farmhouse ale is named for our Jack Russell, who struck by a car, bounced back in fine tenacious Jack Russell fashion, and is brewed for those of us who knocked down, have picked up, dusted off and carried on undaunted. Golden, naturally cloudy, bottle conditioned and dry hopped for a perfectly refreshing balance of spicy malts, hops and yeast. Please enjoy our beers in good health, And look both ways when crossing the street!

Big frothy white head. Cloudy golden body. Spicy aroma. Flavor on the lemony sour side. Average body. Not sure about being as tanacious as a Jack Russell. Trust me. I own one!

On tap at Florida Brewers Guild Fest 2007. Hazy straw pour with bright white head. Sweet fruit candy-like aroma that seems sort of berry like. Also there’s a yeast spice and lemon note. The flavor has a nice pale maltiness mixed seamlessly with hints of mild sourness. Beyond midway I get lemon citrus notes too. I can see drinking this as a premium tasty lawnmower brew.

Oh, yesssahhh, a saison. The only other saison I had was by yards, and it was pretty good. 12 oz brown bottle with a cool dog drawn on the front, from Dexter. Upon opening there is a sour smell. Many, many streams of fine bubble are rising. Nice big white head. I told the beer store clerk not to shake it. Cloudy pale yellow and I think I see things swirling around in there. ... Taste is nifty but slightly bitter. The bitterness seems to roll off your tongue as the creamy carbonation attaches itself to the back of your throat. Interesting aroma again and it seems to have citrus hints in the background. This drink is friendly refreshing and satisfying. The head is impressively creamy and lasting, sticking to the sides of the glass. Nice finish if you drink it before it warms up.

Bottle. Light golden, slightly hazy with a white head. Light hoppy and yeasty aroma with citrus, yeast, fruits and spices. Slightly funky and lightly sour. Pretty light body with a citric and slightly funky finish. Long aftertaste. Very pleasant and refreshing!

Pours a hazy light-golden colour, kind of beige-yellow with a big white creamy head, long lasting and with some decent lacing. Carbonation is quite active with tiny bubbles. Sour aromas over citrus notes with Belgian Ale yeast and mild grass. The taste has the sourness again with citrus. Light grain and yeast tarts up the tongue in the aftertaste. Hints of spices. Not bad, but more of a sour wild beer than saison. Not my thing.

a YEASTY SPICY AND CITRUS TINGED BREW. Adequately sour, has the JP house flavor and aroma. Murky as all hell and a bit explosive, but I enjoyed the 20-22 oz that were left in the botle after :) Next time I'll open over the glass.

Medium bodied and nicely carbonated. Pale yellow-orange color with a fluffy white head and nice lacing. Pepper and spice great the nose and pallette.

RBAG 2012. Cloudy gold with a white fluffy cap floating on top. Funky lemon aroma with sweet wheaty malts. Funky sour lemon, with spice and apple, this ok tasting. Brew is really dry….starting to get pasties. Just tasted some high quality grass the kind they would have at Augusta I imagine. Malty are wheaty and light. Glad I picked this one to try.

1st Jolly Pumpkin beer. From batch #251,252. One of those breweries that I never thought I would find...and then I discover this little beer oasis in the desert! Several inches of white frothy foam, and a lot of lacing all over the glass. Cloudy yellow, with a little cyclone of bubbles in the middle. Nice balance of tart and sour flavors...like unripe green apples, and...I can't place the tart flavor. I've had one saison before (fron Fantome). This is really delicious. It is light enough to make it easy to drink and the flavors are pronounced enough to make this a really stellar beer. now I want to try the one with the Van Gogh-esque label featuring a lady with a nice ass.
