This is our lightest and lowest calorie beer. Our main goal in brewing this beer was to satisfy the percentage of the beer-drinking masses who like to drink beer, but are apprehensive about the calories that go with it. Brewed to give a crisp, clean, refreshing taste with very subtle malt and hop flavor, this light lager is sure fuel the LIGHTER vs. LESS FILLING debate.

I had the Iron Hill Light Lager at the Newark, DE location. For the life of me, I don't know why they bother brewing these light beers. Light beers and size L beer T-shirts have no place in a brew pub....any way rant over...This was a golden colored body with a light crisp taste. I won't bash it because as far as a light beer it was horrible...but please will someone notify the brewers of the world to stop these tasteless beers!

Clash below said exactly what I'd like to say...but I have to ramble on for at least 150 characters to make my review meaningful. I usually try to consider style when rating beers, but the fact that a beer is a "light" beer doesn't get it off the hook for having no taste, smell, etc. I guess if you don't care how your beer tastes and you still want alcohol, this is a good choice. If you don't care how your beer tastes and you don't care about alcohol, save a couple bucks and order a water with a lemon in it. You'll won't be missing out on anything.

This really sucked. A bad start to this sampler plater. Pale yellow appearance with little head. Corn and more corn with some malt dying to come out. Pass on this one!

For what it was - a light beer - this one was decent. Crisp and refreshing but not a lot of flavor behind it. Golden appearance and definitely better than your macro light beers. A nice start to the sampler I had.
