Re-rate, 2/10, draft Newark. Original rating stands. Nice stuff. Original Rating: On draft at the Newark location. Pour was hazy to cloudy straw colored with a nice head and solid lacing all the way down. The aroma was wheaty with some yeast and smokiness. The flavor followed, definite wheat base, firm smoke support, yet not overpowering, yeast in the finish along with what seemed to me to be a rye bite, although the bartender said she was not aware of rye being in it. Standard hefeweizen fruity esters were highly subdued, near nil, an interesting brew. Full bodied, hearty, refreshing drink.
