Poured out a deep brown color about like a RC cola only this beer has no head. The aroma at first had a slight skunk smell but faded away into mild malt. The mouthfeel is smooth and a little above average. The flavor is okay but not at all complex.

Cola brown pour, little head. A little too sweet and thin despite the abv for my palate. Flavor of molasses light smoke and booze. One dimensional but pretty tasty. Ok. Not my favorite I&G, though...

Big review night with the local Brew Crew: 18 different beers with barbecue, delicious desserts, and good company. It was universally agreed that this was one of the more beautiful and tasty selections. It has a rich, clear black tea color and small head. Nice brown sugar and whisky peat/molasses aroma that shines forth in subtle flavor. Mild and light for a porter, but truly delicious, hitting all the right notes for my tastes.

Translucent ruby brown pour, short head, some lacing - lighter than most porters. Very sweet aroma and initial flavor, definitely get the molasses, lightly roasted malts, cocoa, hint of salted nuts and very light earthy hops. Still, molasses makes this a sweet one, but flavorful if you want an after dinner brew.

Ruby-mahogany colored beer with a three fingered off white, creamy textured head rising above. There's some hang time on the head. It settles eventually into a thin ringlet. The profile is burnt malt and molasses. Light medium bodied, sticky, tarlike palate.
