June 2015: 500 ml bottle, BB date 06.06.2014, from CITTI-Markt Flensburg. Pale yellow colour, moderate white head. Moderate aroma of grain and grass. The flavour was probably fresher a year ago, but is not undrinkable. Some malty and grainy notes.

Part of a two-bottle pack at the LCBO. Pours a clean golden colour with frothy slight off-white, good retention and some light spot of lacing. Big malty nose with some sweetness and cereal notes. The taste shows some sweetness as well, with a blend of the cereal malts and mild hops. The grain lingers on the tongue. A well-done Helles, just a tad rich.

Clear yellow white foam head. Light barley aroma and smooth beer taste, like most German beers. Good for volume drinking when thirsty, that's all. (Velp 201501)

Bottled. Golden colour, mediumsized white head. Aroma is malts, some grass, mild herbs and some mild saltwatery notes. Flavour is malts, mild caramel and toffee along with some grassy notes. Smooth palate.
