Pours a thick foamy tan head atop a dark brown near black body. Aroma brings lots of burnt dark chocolate, charred wood, espresso, peat and toasted grain. Dark chocolate sweetness up front, followed by charred chocolate, burnt grass, smoky coffee, and a rush of earthy grassy bitterness. Finishes nicely dry and smooth, with a long lingering charred chocolate and coffee flavor. Very nice oatmeal stout.

Black as night but I only got a slight tan head when I poured vigorously. Nice dark roasted nose.Good flavor but a little thin. All in all a good oatmeal.

Poured an opaque black color with a small, tan head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of roasted malt, sweet chocolate, and faint whisky. Taste was roasty, with more sweet chocolate, lactose, and a faint sourness in the end.

On draught. Nice roasty, cocoa nose. A very easy drinking stout.

Draft. Nice tan head with little aromas at all. The initial taste is of straight up alcohol and mild espresso. Next comes the bittersweeet chocolate taste with even more alcohol pushing behind. I don't know how strong this is, but all I'm getting now is alcohol. The finish is dry and bitter.

This stout pours with a black body topped by a thick, brown, creamy head with a good amount of lacing. The aroma is slightly sweet, roasty and malty with a slight coffee note and a touch of licorice. The flavor is slightly sweet and malty yet bitter and roasty with licorice notes and a nice roasted coffee finish. Full bodied and smooth yet dry.
