Brewed in collaboration with the Society of Beer Drinking Ladies especially for Pride Month. Picnic Point Pale Ale is a Session APA named in honour of the gay unity picnics that the University of Toronto Homophile Association held at Hanlan’s Point in 1970. These events served as precursors to Toronto’s first Pride Week which took place in 1974, and other LGBT+ celebrations that have led towards the modern Pride Month.

Can from Henderson, just called "Picnic" now and 3.5% ABV. Hazy, light golden with a tad of orange hue. The head is white, frothy, decent lasting with a bunch of thick foam patches. Got this very sweet blonde ale malt nose at first, like caramel base. Some hints of citrusy hops do come out eventually. The taste has some cereal grains with a little citrus. It is easy-drinking, and not bad at all for 3.5% light beer. Nicely balanced between the Meyer lemon zest and hops.
