We think they saw a rosy glow shining through the mist and were drawn like moths to a flame towards a gang of Highlanders enjoying their favourite red ale. One sip and they hung up their sandals and settled in Scotland forevermore. You'll think it a canny decision when you taste the dried-fruits-meet- biscuit deliciousness of this cracking brew, made with Czech, American and New Zealand hops and a unique mix of malts, including de-husked carafa, which gives Ninth Legion its distinctive red hue.
