Definitely an American wheat and not a true hefe. Wheat, grain and citrus are the dominant players in the flavor and aroma. Pretty mediocre across the board - just didn't do anything for me.

Pours a very light, hazy yellow-straw color with a small head that dissipates instantly with nice lacing. The aroma is wheat, citrus, and lemon citrus. The taste is caramel, wheat, citrus, and pale malts with a bitter aftertaste and an alcohol bite. The mouhfeel is light body with medium carbonation.

Pours out pale yellow with a very small white head. Slight wheat smell, not alot to it. Flavor is similar, just not alot going on here. Nothing special to see here.

Super Bowl 2010. Cloudy pale yellow pour. Mildly citrus aroma. Fruity, but with some off type flavors...and a bit watery and thin as well. Really not the best hefeweizen. I’m glad I only drank half.

Purchased on my trip to Nashville, Best by 09.15.10 stamped on the neck of the bottle. Pours a cloudy golden-beige with an orange hue. Its head is white, frothy, above-average lasting and has good lacing. Wheat nose with lots of lemon zest to it. Medium-light bodied with a little stick to it. Mild wheat and citrus taste, not offensive, but to please more of a mass-market of summer drinkers.

Part of the "Wintry Mix" 12 pack. The unfiltered wheat's aroma is wheat, weak on lemon, and no bananas. Little to no head. Cloudy golden color. Light body. Flavor is about like the aroma, "weak", but it leaves a bitter aftertaste. I've much better wheat beers.

Part of the Summer Vacation 12 Pk. Pours a slightly hazy pale yellow with some head and little lacing. Some carbonation. Aromas of wet, sweet wheat, some malts, and wet cardboard - NO noticeable banana or clove like the good hefes impart. Taste is a little like wet grass and wheat with a slight sweet maltiness. Disappointing.

I wasn't too impressed with this being a microbrew and all. It's basically an average wheat beer at best. Not much color (a light golden yellow), not much flavor. A little bit cloudy but thin and semi-clear. This was the first time I bought Harpoon, so not the best first impression.

Aroma of banana at first then a musty wheat scent showed up. Golden and cloudy body. Flavor was not good at all,the musty wheat was all there was, upon drinking it i thought that this is what a hefe brewed by budweiser would taste like. Overall it was not good.

... a very simple beer that should only be given to BMC'ers ... to bland for me but is easy to drink..
