The lightest of the Mueller brews at Springfield. Off the tap today - 5 March 2011 - hazy pale golden yellow with a light white head that laced forever and a day - even in a sampler glass. Wheat/citrus aroma... very nice.

Had this on tap at the brewery on last trip to Springfield, MO. Arrived with a wedge of lemon. Hazy, unfiltered yellow gold with a nice sized head, it leaves a thin lace ring on the glass. Smell is lemon citrus with wheat. Complex flavors - sweet malt taste to start, with a nice spicy and yeast balance. Ends with a floral hop bitterness. Mouthfeel was full without being to sticky. Normally I wouldn't want extra fruit in my beer, but the lemon enhanced the smell and flavor.

This distinctive American Wheat arrived courtesy of Brett. Hazy and light yellow with a thin white head and little lacing. Light aromas of citrus and dried flowers. Clean, crisp mouthfeel. Mild flavors of wheat and light fruit, but not at all sweet - this beer is remakably dry but surprisingly refreshing, and that really complements the style well in my estimation. This poured a pale yellow color with no head. It had a sweet aroma which carried you into its crisp flavor and mild aftertaste. Although enjoyable, this had somewhat of a watery mouthfeel.

Thanks to Brett for this beer :) This beer poured a very hazey, clouded sun coloured body with plenty of pleasent wheaty aromas. This beer was very smooth, very clean and had a nice crisp finish.

A very well rounded beer for drinking while getting your fat on with the food. poured a cloudy pale yellow with a nice white head. Taste very smooth and left the mouth wanting more, a very good wheat beer.

Gift from Brett. Light yellow color, like straw. Hazy, unfiltered body. Quickly evaporating head. Smooth mouthfeel and a light, clean finish. In a word: Refreshing.

Sampled on draft at the brewery. Pours a dark, cloudy lemon yellow with a nice white head and remarkable lacing. Aroma and flavor feature citrus, pine and spice. An awesome American wheat whose GABF medal seems well-deserved.
