A murky brown colored beer with a big frothy textured light tan head rising above. There's decent hang time on the head. Splotches of film and thick ringlet are left. I get a funkiness in the nose. Light yeast, banana and a touch of cloves in a watered beer.

pours a brilliantly clear, dark honey color with a fluffy small white head with no lacing. The aroma consisted mostly of clove and banana with a healthy dose of biscuits and a hint of grapes. The taste is light and delicate consiting of bubblegum and bananas with rich breadiness and wheat. A touch of tang in the sweet finish with a hint of cocoa and raisins too. The mouthfeel is rich and lightly carbonated.

Not what I expected a hefeweizen to look like at all. The flip-top popped open with a little light from the lever, and as I moved the "cork" away I got brown yeast-mud all over my hand. The mouth of the bottle is quite disgusting, but I figured I'd give it a go anyway. Pours an opaque muddy iced tea brown with a pretty foamy eggshell head. The head was not as proliferate as I would have expected either. Left a little lacing on the glass. A slight whiff of band-aids at first...well,a quick whiff of something I can't quite identify and my brain rang in first "first aid equipment." The flavor is quite pleasant: a lot of bright fruity notes and some slight cloves in the nose and on the tongue. Oh there's the problem: it's dated 3/08. I'll try this again with a fresher bottle.

Sampled on 5/9/2009. This hefe-weizen pours a dark gold color from a 500ml flip top bottle. Small to medium sized white foamy head with decent lacing. The aroma is fruity and sweet, touch of banana and clove. A medium to light bodied hefe. The malts are caramel, fruity and sweet. A touch of clove and more banana. The hops are earthy. A touch oxidized. The color also seems a little off. Carbonation seems a touch flat. Kind of sweet. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly sweet.

Pours a cloudy bright golden colour with an orange tint and a huge creamy white head. Taste is creamy, with plenty of tropical fruits. Aroma is sweet, pleasent with citrus and spice notes, noticeable orange, pineapple and coriander and bannana.

Poured a clear golden color with a thick white head. It had a pleasent wheat aroma with a nice balanced flavor and strong wheat sweetness near the finish.

Hazy golden amber with a moderate-sized bubbly white head. Faint aromas of apples, banana and light clove. Light, refreshing palate. Mild flavors of pale malt, grass, and light citrus, faint banana and spice. Thin, watery, dishwater finish. Most boring. Hacker-Pschorr's take on an American Wheat? This brew has a very strong taste of Bananas. Aroma is nice , Small fluffy white head, very cool old fashion bottle. Taste is not that great. Goes down smooth but that is about it. Below Average Hefeweizen.

Hazy golden orange colour, small white head. Aroma is wheat, malts and slight fruityness. Also lots of banana. Flavour is bananas, some spices and grassy. An alternative hefe-weizen as for the big spicyness.

Bottle. Cloudy orange with a thick and creamy white head. Aroma of yeast, wheat, cloves and banana. Similar for the taste with some malt and more accent on the banana. Quite intense flavours for the type of beer. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation for the style. Good hefeweizen.
