I tried this beer on July 1, 2008 at “Smokeless Joe’s” in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The beer poured a translucent dark gold with a bubbly white head. The aroma was grainy malt with a slight trace of hops. The mouthfeel was medium bodied, with medium to high carbonation. The flavour was smooth with some grainy malt, some spice, and a slight hoppy bitter finish.

Drank this at October Fest in Düsseldorf (Münich was too far away). A good German beer to be drinking eating Wurst und Sauerkraut. Clear yellow with lasting foam head, lacing to glass. Not too sweet, OK bitter. (Düsseldrof 201110)

Sampled on draught: Pours a bright clear golden colour with a large creamy white head. Initial taste is malty, with flavors of corn, grain and lemon. Slight yeast notes. Aroma is grassy and noticeably hopped.

Jow could you pass up a beer with a picyure of a woman delivering three steins? I can dream. A fruity-toasted grain aroma. A floral, slightly bittering hops was evident in this crisp, cooling refreshing brew

This beer pours a clear dark gold with a thin white head. The aroma is grainy malt mixed with some faint floral hops. The flavour is grainy malt with a nice hoppy finish and bitter aftertaste. A very good beer.

Pours a beautiful clear amber-yellow with a nice head and good lacing. Good carbonation. Aromas balanced with slightly sweet malts and hops. Taste is extremely smooth with a great balance of the hops and malts. Excellent beer.

One of the local shops has finally implemented a system of buying singles, and a bottle of this was part of my first mixed haul from them. Pale yellow pour with a thick layered head and sticky lacing followed by a brisk carbonation. Mild aroma of a faintly balanced lighter brew. Very dry on the palate, nice bitterness with a small sweetness. Drinkable and light, I'm afraid a sixer wouldn't last very long in my fridge. Decent flavor, rather typical of the style. Nice grassy pale malt with some very distinguishable hops both flavorful and lightly bitter, well balanced. Soft and dry the flavor accentuates the great mouth feel. This is nice, typical, but still a very good representation.

This one wasnt too bad. It was a,little too dry, which overpowered the hops and malt, leaving you with a bland dry taste. It was however very easy to drink, little hops gave it a "yeasty" character with a smooth mouthfeel and a mild aftertaste.

Nice golden colour, with a bit of white fuzz. Decent taste, not as sweet as others. Im not really familliar with the style but its decent, not upstanding. Flavour is fairly mild, no bite or real aftertaste.
