This pale summer brew combines the crisp, dry refreshment of a light lager with a subtle, tart hint of huckleberries that is neither sweet nor overpowering.

Brown 12oz bottle, no alc listed, brought back from Montana Trip. Also got to sample on tap at the brewery tasting room. Pours a cloudy golden yellow color, one inch of white bubbly foam that left some thin lacing. Smells of fruity berries and lots of yeasty aroma from this unfiltered beer. Tastes like a yeasty wheat beer with just enough tang from the berries to give a fruity flavor. Kind of a thin mouthfeel (on purpose I assume) makes it light tasting, refreshing and easy to drink summer beer. Unique beer featuring wild Montana huckleberries.

I had this beer several times a few years back when on vacation to Montana. The huckleberries' sweet/tart qualities make for a wonderful wheat beer. This was a unique beer but well worth trying. I hope that I can come across it again

I tried this beer once in Haugen, MT. It was terrific, much better than the horrible steak I had for dinner. I'm not a big fan of wheat beers these days, but this beer had an excellent flavor and stood up well on its own or with a meal.
