Can you guess the tasting notes? Pretty easy eh! Lots of chocolate and coffee and coconut. It's almost like we tried to make a Coconut Coffee Porter!

Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 8 | Mouthfeel: 7 | Flavor: 7 | Overall: 7
Pours a dark brown colour with some mild ruby highlights. The head is mocha coloured with good retention and some thick creamy lacing. Aromas of dark roasted malts, chocolate, coffee notes and coconut. The taste has the burnt malts again, but with hints of apples. Yeast and cocoa creating a little tarty mouthfeel in the finish, but not before passing through a smoothness. The coconut is pretty mild in the flavours, almost not present. Still, a great flavoured porter.

I gave it 7 for appearance because I liked the colour. Poor head retention and lacing. Coffee, milk chocolate and vanilla aroma. Flavour has dark roasted malt, coffee, milk chocolate, vanilla, rusty water bitterness and maybe just a wee bit of coconut. Thin mouthfeel for the style.

Pours a fairly big frothy tan head that leaves some thick sticky lacing behind and has a dark brown appearance. Aromas of coffee, cocoa and chocolate. Flavours are mainly coffee with some dark roasted malt notes. Also some chocolate, cocoa and some very faint spice hints in the finish. Lots of sweetness from this one. Slick and oily mouthfeel. Good retention and average carbonation.

The beer pours an opaque dark brown colour with a creamy tan coloured head. The aroma is roasred malkt, coffee, dark chocolate, and hints of dark fruit and coconut. The mouthfeel was medium to full bodied with average carbonation. The flavour was roasted malt, milk chocolate, and coconut. What coffee flavour there was...was quite muted.
