We are pleased to release this this tasty autumn ale. Hand crafted with an assortment of specialty malts and hops, we added a generous amount of pumpkin directly into the brew. Combine this with hints of cinnamon, clove, nutmeg and allspice and you;ve got a beer that you won't soon forget. rich, satisfying and slightly spicey, our seasonal beer goes perfectly with your favorite dessert or traditional feast. But like fall, pumpkin ale comes once a year.

It has a gold - orange cloudly appearance. There was a small head which quickly dissapeared. It has a sweet and spicey taste. Very rich. Nice balance.

Pours a huge thick frothy white head and has a cloudy golden appearance. Some cinnamon and nutmeg aromas and huge pumpkin spice. This one really does have that pumpkin spice flavour. Has some spices and also more nutmeg is noticeable. A bit of caramel malts as well. Slightly wet mouthfeel. Medium retention. Pretty good.

Bomber from Martinway Plaza LCBO. Clear orange pour with an ivory head, small lacing remained. Pumpkin and cinammon for the aroma, nutmeg also, maybe. Pumpkin and cinammon flavour, smooth mouth. Bit of sweetness to finish yet not too much. First pumpkin ale of the season and a decent effort.

Pours a slightly cloudy orange/yellow color with a frothy white head. Good retention and lacing. Lots of active carbonation. Smells good, like a fresh pumpkin pie. Starts with a somewhat sweet pumpkin kinda flavor, some spices and a bitter follow. Nice full flavor and a medium well carbonated mouthfeel. My first pumpkin ale so I didn't know what to expect, not bad though.

I expected more of this than I got. It was spicy all right, too spicy for a beer. I was expecting more orange from this based on the comments already supplied, but mine was very gold. No head. There was cinnamon and pumpkin in the aroma, and definitely a cinnamon hint in the flavour.

Second pumpkin ale reviewed tonight (of two). This one being a Canadian one, the other, American. This one is on the hazy side, with a golden-orange colour. Its head is off-white, longer lasting and leaves a thick chunky lace all around. The spices are not as predominant as the other though. After waiting a while, a little cinnamon comes out. It has more of a hoppy scent to it. The mouthfeel is not as crisp as the Brooklyn one, but has a little more stickiness to it. The hop takes over the spices in the taste as well. The pumpkin is also taking over the spices (that I really enjoy in these pumpkin ales - see St-Ambroise's pumpkin ale). Again, not a bad pumpkin ale, just missing some impact. Judging from the other reviews, I wish I could try this one fresh from the brewer.

The beer poured a translucent orangy-gold with a thin light brown head that lingered. The aroma was weakly pumpkin-like, with some grassy malts, and cinnamon. The mouthfeel was medium bodied with medium carbonation. The flavour was malty, but there was a hint of pumpkin, and more than a hint of cinnamon.

Bottle: Poured a clear orangey color ale with a small foamy head with no retention and no lacing. Aroma of pumpkin and cinnamon is dominating and well balance. Taste is also dominated by some pumpkin notes with some cinnamon and maybe subtle cloves notes. Full body with some minimal carbonation. Well done overall with some good balance.

Had a draft at the brewery but this rating is from a fresh bottle sample. Poured a bright orange-amber with a 1 finger white cap...does not last long but makes a surface lace that laces the glass well enough. Wonderful nose: pumpkin pie spices with toffee malts and some botanical mustiness ( the pumpkin) Good mouth feel, silky and ample. Big caramel malts in the front start to go sweet but the spice- hop astringence rushes in to balance very well, lovely spicy, malty lightly sweet middle with a sharp clean finish and light spice and bread after taste. Well carried off Pumpkin ale....rich and satisfying but smooth and drinkable...best of the seasonals from this Brewer so far
