Legend has it, Etobichoker rose from the depths of the Humber terrorizing Etobicokers and haunting their children's dreams. Overwrought citizens everywhere from Sherway Gardens to Long Branch still report sightings if the hideous monster daily. Turns out Etobichoker is one of those oftmisunderstood monsters who loves hops for their pungent aromas and flavours of pine, tropical fruit, and resins. Just like the rest of is. Can. You have to give it to the Great Lakes Brewery, their can designs are pretty awesome. Colour - medium gold, cloudy, huge white head that disappears quickly. Aroma - tropical fruit, citrus, pine, and funky yeast. Mouthfeel - medium bodied, average carbonation, some creaminess. Flavour - pine notes and tropical fruits, some tartness, and yeast. Quite good.

The beer pours a hazed deep gold colour with a thin white head. Aroma is tropical fruit (papaya, melon), yeast, and an earthiness. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with average carbonation. Flavour is fruity with notes of funk, yeast, and caramel. Another excellent beer from Lackey and his friends. -

On tap @ Bent Elbow - taps a hazy deep gold with a puffy cap. Aroma is pungent and awesome - apricot, citrus, pine, spice with Belgian yeast funk. Taste is a wonderful amalgam of fruits spice and plae malts with citrusy-piney hop offset...finishes lightly dry and hoppy-fruity. Much like an abbey blonde with Duvel strength.
