Since I arrived in Reno I heard quite a few good things about this beer. so I had to try it. Comes out of the tap a beautiful, bubbly golden honey-amber with a fairly thick and fine-bubbled pale honey-gold head that persists and leaves generous lacing. Hoppy aroma borders on evergreen and has hints of malt and grapefruit. Strongly hoppy flavor is somewhat bitter and has subtle malty and sour citrus notes, mixing grapefruit with a little lemon. Firm-bodied texture is loaded with fizz, leaving a tingly and hoppy finish. Dig it up!

Nice clean IPA from slowrunner77 - great label! This one pours a true clear copper with a tight off-white creamy head leaving some chunky lacing. Nice hopped aroma of citrus, some pine and floral, nice wet malts. Taste is much the same with a nice citrus and light piney bitter linger. Another IPA that would be easy to drink all day. Thank you Chris!

On tap. A better than average IPA and while I wasn’t a stand-out IPA it was tasty just the same. Aroma was very floral, light sweet tea, with some soft citrus hop notes. Flavor tasted very fresh, with a lively citrus hop profile, biscuity/bready notes with a lingering bitter finish.

Grab an Icky! A load of pine resin hops. Dark copper color with a full tan head. Full-bodied with ample carbonation. Nothing exceptional or strange, just pure smooth drinkability and flavor. Clean finish.

very hoppy, in the nose and flavor. a local favorite. darker orange, great strong aroma and hoppy (cascade and others) bitterness. similar hop profile tho Hop Ottin IPA from Boonville. 2011-finally bottled, but it's mellowed, to a fault. a little to tame and a touch watery. 3.7 on tap, 3ishin the bottle (and now can). oh well...

If you're a hop lover (like me) you cannot die happy until you've tried an Icky. After recently relocating to Reno from the SF bay area I almost want to say that I'd prefer an Icky over an Anchor Liberty. Very clean and fresh tasting beer with a Cascade finishing hop that give this IPA that beautifully aromatic and full flavor. Best had at the brewery in Sparks while grooving to any one of the great local rock, blues, folk, etc. bands that regularly play.
