pours a clear golden brown, pours to medium sized off white head. The lace quickly dissaptes into a clear film. The aroma has deep layers of fruit, apricot being dominant. A hint of lemon citrus is detectable as well. The taste is fruity and solid. Tends to be somewhat sweet at the outset with light smokiness setting in at the swallow. A mild hoppy bitterness will linger at the back of the tongue and top of the throat as an aftertaste. The mouthfeel is smooth and light.

I didn't know this was 7%. Felt light, but this is what I wanted actually. A nice, smooth, lighter, blond/golden ale. Finding all of Gordon's brews to be fairly solid. Decent hop finish. Semi-clear appearance...tiny bit of cloudiness. Sampling this brewer one beer at a time, but this is something I'd grab a 6-pack of.

a pretty nice malty aroma and flavor. the body is a little bit lacking for a 7% bock, but isn't bad at all. average for the style, slightly better than the average beer overall.

A bright orange colored beer. A big frothy textured, white head rises above. Settles slowly into a transition from thick lacing to none, eventually, at all. Grass and bread in the nose. A full bodied, smooth beer. Medium carbonation. The tasting follows the nose, light all around, but mostly bread malt with some grassy notes.

A beautiful dark golden amber with a fairly thick head. Aroma is both hoppy and malty, not strong but definitely noticeable. Flavor is rich, mainly hoppy, just a whisper of sweetness, a fair amount of hop bitterness. Finish is hop-bitter and pleasing. A good accompaniment to a meal, or fine by itself.

It's OK, kid. Spelly The Bee says, not everyone can win. Someone has got to lose, and that someone just happens to be you. -had in bottle, thanks to Justin.. pours a fake gold yellow, light sparse lacing .. . dead grass and light fake honey malts .. god, boring and slightly offensive ..

Not much going on here, aroma and flavors of old malts, grass and bread. Golden body with a thin cap, some lace left on the glass. Overall it was underwhelming, and not really good.

On draft at the PHX airport Desert Springs "Brewery." Pour was golden with carbonation, decent initial head, weak retention, ok lacing, though. The aroma was sweet honey and grass. The flavor was sweet honey, sticky pilsner malts, only a touch of hops in the finish. Not crisp or clean, a sloppy stronger pilsner, imo. An ok airport brew, though.

Pours a nice golden color. Small haed with good lace. Malty aroma with light hoppiness. Light and crisp taste of sweet malts. A hint of hops in the finish.

Clear, rich gold with a great head. The aroma is richly malty, almost cake like. In the flavor is it mellow maltiness with the suggestion of alcoholic strength.
