Pours a clear, deep chestnut body with medium sized creamy tan froth with decent retention, moderate lace. The aroma is entirely clean and quite pleasant, with nuttiness and some dark fruit notes being most prominent. Definitely on the malty side. The taste starts out deliciously malty with some caramel sweetness shows up midway though, and just a hint of bitterness lends balance on the finish. The mouthfeel is well carbonated and a bit on the light side of medium bodied.

I was happy to see this one agin. Poured a light amber with medium head and a surprising amount of lacing. The aroma was fresh and sweet with a subtle malty aroma. The mouthfeel and flavor were clean with the malty sweetness coming through. This is a great beer to end the winter with. The really cool can is a bonus.

Sweet can. I love the old school can as well as the $6.45 price tag for a 12 pack. This brew poured wonderful reddish amber, with an off white head. The head is frothy and leaves good lacing on the glass. The aroma is of light malts and straw, adjusted with corn or rice. Also there is just a hint of caramel. The taste is sweet and malty, bready and pretzel like. Hops are almost a nonfactor. The palate is medium bodied creamy and smooth. Finish is short and sweet. Overall not outstanding but a good beer at a great price.

Good twelve pack offering by Genessee, and the design on the can is really sweet. Overall the beer is tasty, simple but still tasty. Pours a clean amber color in the glass with a well sized light tan, lasting head and a large amount of lacing. Faint pale lager aroma mixed with some fresh sweet rolls. Drinkable with a light creaminess that is mildly filling and satisfying. Flavor is on the bland side, but it's not offensive in the least. Lighter malts with a small taste of sweet caramel and bread. I will have no problem picking up more in the future.

I grew up in Genny country and it was kinda traditional to knock the beer brewed in your own backyard, but I liked this one. I think this is one of the best they have to offer. Thanks, Miss Genny!
