Geary's makes fine English style ales, so I'm assuming this is their representation of an English IPA. Very different from what you get accustomed to in the states. It is a weird brew however, I felt it came across as a shallow attempt. Medium copper color with a lasting white head and good lacing. Aromas of stale pepper, toffee and a mix of fresh vegetables along with a woody aspect. Sharp mouth feel, dry and moderately bitter. It's fairly tame and easy drinking. Grassy hop and lemon flavors coupled with crackers, buttered biscuits, and pepper. Solid brew, but odd overall. Mild IPA no matter what side of the pond you are on.

An orange to a copper color. The aroma is rather malty with some hints of lemons. The flavor is only slightly bitter with more malt showing up. Caramel notes and grapefruit presence. A hearty IPA dont think so, hearty har har maybe. Session drink at best.

Pours a light brwon with low to no head. Sweet and fruity flavor, almost annoyingly so, with a bit of hops. Hardly seems like an IPA. I dunno, it's just OK - I was rather disappointed actually.

Bottle courtesy of Northyorksammy: Poured a light orangey color ale with a medium foamy head with limited retention. Aroma of sweet malt and light hops is mostly boring. Taste is a mix between some sweet malt and light English hops. Body is a bout average with some average carbonation. I was quite surprise that this is being classified as an IPA and could not have guess by drinking this beer.

Pours well with straw color and moderate head. Fresh aroma with delicate hop balance. Fully flavor with nutty finish. Clean finish. Did wonderfully with salmon.

Clear brown honey color, minimal head. Aroma was honey and fruity pears. Strong citrus hops, but not overly bitter. Fruity and really sweet, but not in a really pleasant way. I split a 12 oz with my dad and I'm not sure I could have handled much more of this.

not a bad beer by any standard, but wont have called it an IPA. seems to be more like an old ale in style. nice pour with a nice head and some flavor of malt with a hop finish

Intense hop floral finish? Not really. Actually I wasn't completely sure this was considered an IPA. Pours a darker golden color, medium-bodied and a pretty good amount of head on top. A little more malty than hoppy in the aroma. Some hops with a sweet malty taste and doesn't have an agressive hop bite I'd like in an IPA. Decent beer though.
