Pours translucent chocolate brown with a pale buff head. Aroma delivers coconut, roast malt and molasses tones. Flavor features sweet coconut, roast malt, molasses, and a hint of chocolate. Mouthfeel offers good body and peppy fizz. First snow, last snow, any snow, no snow - enjoy.

So excited to pick this one up. Total Wine and More was limiting one bomber per customer. A deep dark brown colored beer with a beautiful foamy textured light tan head rising above. There's some hang time on the head. Thick splotches of film and ringlet are left. Coconut and lighter coffee in the nose. This is a wonderfully crafted dessert beer. Sweet coconut dominates but the coffee and roasted malt are noted. Full bodied.

Coconut porters are growing on me.....especially a solid one like this! Almost like a dessert beer. Aroma reminds me of Tia Maria, a Kahlua-type coffee liqueur. Dark, but not quite jet-black appearance. Flavor has coffee, chocolate, cinnamon, etc. Kind of like Due South's Calling All Cars (coffee/choc donut porter). Coconut not overly sweet. I will be looking out for this again.
