Thanks to Metalchopz for picking this one up. Pours an average size foamy bubbly white head and has a pale golden appearance. Thick sticky lacing. Aromas of biscuit and bready malts, some herbal and grassy notes as well. Flavours are cereal and biscuit malts, pine, herbal. Some mild bitterness on the palate. Moderate carbonation. Not too bad.

Had this one yesterday at a restaurant in Hearst, Ontario on my Northern tour and was quite good with the food, and my first experience. Today, visited the brewery. Pours a clean golden colour with a white cap, good retention and beautiful full lacing. Cereal grain aromas with hints of caramel and other sweetness. Almost like chocolate as well, but no dark malts in here. The taste is slightly sweet with the cereal grains and very light hops to balance things. Crisp, refreshing... and again, great with food. Does what it was meant to do. Kind of like an old school Pale Ale when hops were not big in these, so more like a blonde ale.
