Get ready to bask in the glory of the frothy head's floral bouquet. Relish the citrus accents from the abundance of dry-hopping. This one's sweet, yet balanced. Malty undertones shake hands with the hop character for a finish that never turns too bitter.

Sample from bottle at Vectura-messe. Orange colour. Aroma of crystal malts and orangey American hops. Sharp hoppy flavour throughout. Not the best beer from Founders.

Clear orange, off-white lacing, lasting foam head. Great hoppy aroma, floral noes. Indeed the flowers explode in taste, citrus notes and great bitterness. Lasting taste. (Chicago 201510)

Cloudy amber pour with alot of carbonation. Thick offwhite head with citrus and pine aroma. Mouthfeel was the only aspect I thought was a little lacking. Great beer.

A well done IPA using the Centennial hop. An amber brew with a hint of murkiness and an off-white cap. Lots of piney notes and citrusy hops in the aroma with a touch of caramel. Well balanced flavour between the citrus and the caramel. Nothing too overpowering.

For an IPA, this was a bit of a letdown based on my first few experiences with this brewer. Glad I only sampled a single. Still a good beer, just for the style, it's about average. Appearance is a cloudy medium to dark orange. Some hop up front but only slightly bitter in the end. More of a malty IPA vs. hop bomb. Could be balanced better. I'd rather stick with my local FL brewed Jai Alai or a Topedo for this strength...... UPDATED 4/5/15: Bumped flavor and overall up a point. Better than originally sampled.

An orange, deep in color with a big fluffy white-beige head risi8ng above. There's good hang time on the head settling eventually into a creamy, clingy film and cap. The profile is a rich cornucopia if Floral-Citrus-Piney hops in a sweet biscuit base. Medium bodied and refreshing.

Maybe I got a bad 6, oured the first one out, second one just as bad. Aroma of watered down cough syrup, funky fruit. Clear medium copper body with minimal white head with no lace. Medium mouth, best thing about this beer. God awful flavor, tastes like aluminum chlorhydrate especially in the finish. Will have to try this again sometime, something way wrong here. RERATE 12/12/2013 First one must have been spoiled. (original review1.8) Nose is still odd; indistinct fruit, some vanilla, some honey, but acceptable. Pours with not much head and very fogged body that is a deeper amber then most IPA's, little lace. Mouth is about right for an IPA a bit slick though. I still get a hint of cough syrup in the flavor but not as awful as the previous review. And i still get that chemical/aluminum in the finish, decent hops and malt but somethings still off here. Alcohol not masked. Will try this one more time sometime, but not soon.

Pours a small fizzy bubbly head and has a coppery appearance, slightly dark amber. Aromas are mainly floral and resin hops. A bit of toasts, malts and nuts. Sweet and strong hoppy flavours, floral and citrus hops mainly. Faint nutty notes and hints of caramel. Fairly bitter on the palate and in the finish but balanced well with sweetness. Not bad, just doesn't really stand out from other ipa's I've had lately.

The beer pours a dark golden orange color with a thin filmy off white head. It smells pretty amazing, i picked up a sweet candy like caramel flavor With a bouquet of fruity and floral hop aroma. Nice bitter hop flavor with fruit and citrus with more caramel in the background and a grapefruit finish. The beer is medium bodied with velvety carbonation and a smooth finish. This is an exceptional ipa, there is nothing bad to say about this brew. It's nice and balanced and hides the abv very well.
