The beer poured a solid black colour with a creamy light brown head. The aroma was roasted malt, coffee, and citrusy hops. The mouthfeel was thin to medium bodied, with average carbonation. The flavour was strong on grapefruit and roasted malt with hints of coffee and milk chocolate underneath. A good tasting beer brought down by being thin bodied
