Pours a nice clear golden with a respectable pale buff head. Strong, malty aroma has a firm hoppy accompaniment. Flavor is malty and hoppy, enjoyable if not complex. Mouthfeel is thin and not fizzy, but not off-putting. If not breat, worth a flight.

Concluded my visit to Foothills with this tasty pale ale. Nutty and caramel malts with a large flowery hop bite. Very aromatic and flavorful from beggining to end. A largely satisfying drink, I would love to have this around for day to day consumption.

A copper color with white head. Aroma is faint with citrus and caramel. Flavor is bitter with mainly lemons but little else going on. Very one dimensional. Aftertaste is a little odd. Very average.

I had this beer at Blue 5 in Roanoke, VA. This was a decent IPA. It was mostly pine flavored hops with hints of citrus and freshly cut grass. The beer had a nicely balanced malt backbone. I'll try more beers from this brewer.

Knoxville Brewers' Jam 2008. Pours a light golden amber with a white head and decent lacing. Good carbonation. Aromas of piney and grapefruit hops with a decent malt balance. Taste is balanced with the hops and malts.
