12 ounce bottle. Pours dar with a decent tan head. Aroma is good and lasting. Taste is even and balanced. Very nice overall and I would recommend it to other IPA drinkers.

355 ml capped bottle. Poured in the original Flying Dog goblet an unfiltered and light hazy amber-orange coloured Ale with a generous two fingers dense and slightly beige pillowy foamy head that had a very long retention and tons of micro bubbles. Sustained carbonation. Good lacing. The aroma is citrussy and flowery hops, toasted malts, fruity, grapefruits, lemon and a touch of smoke. The flavour is light toasted malts, yeast, fruity, grapefruits, lemon, spicy, orange peels and star anis, citrussy and flowery hops. The mouthfeel is light crispy and very smooth. The texture is oily. This medium bodied Ale has a quite long hoppy bitter finish. A soft Saison in the IPA way. Easy drinkable and nice flavoured. When a Saison meets an IPA...

A cloudy orange colored beer with a one finger fluffy textured white head rising briefly. A moderate ringlet is what is left. The nose is yeasty and citric. The nose bolder of the same with some oranges, pepper and honey thrown in. Really nice in a moderate smooth body. .

Very yeasty. So much so (&without much in the way of wilder qualities) I'd have thought this a belgian iPa before Saison. That being said, it's one of the better beers I've had from them. Dry, fruity, spicy. Adequately hoppy and just a touch of farmhouse Bretty funk. Finishes nice.

I have yet to find a belgian IPA that really impressed. Nice orange pour with a huge head that leaves lots of lacing. Fruity and floral hops abound in the aroma but with underlying yeasty notes. Flavor is similarly fruity and floral but the yeast and funk show through more; finishes lightly bitter.

This dog seems to be stepping it's game up, and this latest offering blew me away considerably. Fruity and overly floral with a tame funky yeast. Two inch cloud of a head, hazy gold body and strong carbonation. Dry, bitter, inviting, clean AND soothing. Brett influence throughout giving a barnyard funkiness coupled with grassy bitter hops. Great surprise, I'll be going back for more.

Lightly cloudy pale yellow pour, very tall white head after aggressive pour, settles down to normal leaving copious amounts of lacing. Nice floral and light tart nose, very noticeable floral hops, yeasts and funk for certain, inviting aroma. Nice floral hop bitter presence upfront, then some Belgian-type yeasts and some funkiness, honeysuckle, slight honey sweetness, crisp to say the least. This is a nice change of pace and more than I expected from Flying Dog and this beer! Worth seeking.
