Opaque golden w/ strong apple aroma - who would have guessed. Strong sweet apple taste, still some white beer mouthfeel there. You drink what is available in this country. (Dubai 201410)

Another really nice fruit beverage, strongly apple flavor, great fruity aroma, grandly sweet. Light carbonation, with a mulled spice flavor that present but not overpowering. Does not taste much like beer, but a good experience all in all.

not at all like a traditional beer in the flavor or aroma. loads of apple, with a hint of cinnamon and honey sweetness. no ddiscernable hop or really even malt presence, but refreshing in it's simplicity.

Enjoyed at a Belgian-style bar in Doha, Qatar. Best before 08/12. One of four Floris had tonight. Cloudy golden-beige colour with a slight green hue (especially seen with the light from behind at the pour). Creamy big white head with good retention. Beautiful apple nose. Slighly stickier feel than the other Floris tried. Sweet apple juice taste with notes of cinnamon spices in the finish. Also, hints of honey come out as well. Pretty good overall, but gets a bit too sweet.

A hazy, gold/yellow color with a small white head. Minimal retention and only scant lacing left behind. Some sediment is floating around in the glass. Nice aromas of fresh apples and apple juice. Touches of honey and some other unidentifiable spices. The apple dominates the aroma. Not harmonious with the other scents. That could very well be the brewers intention however. Again a nice flavor of apple juice. A bit of wheat and yeast also. Some touches of bitterness. Rather sweet all the way through. The apple flavor dominates the flavor also. Medium to medium/thin mouthfeel. Covers the palate ok. Refreshing and crisp. Only a touch dry. Well, this is a nicely refreshing Summer beer. I'm not sure how many I could drink at one time. Really strong with the apple aromas and flavors. The sweetness might become a bit distracting after a while. All in all it's a nice change when taken in small doses.

Was not a fan. Too much in the way of apple for it to be considered a beer in my opinion. It pours a hazy dark gold, not unlike fresh apple cider. Both the flavour and aroma is dominated by apples. No balance.

This fruit beer pours a slightly hazy apple juice color from a 33cl bottle. Small sized white foamy head. The aroma is tart apple juice with some spices, somewhat sweet. A light to medium bodied fruit beer. The malts are fruity and sweet. It is mostly semi sweet apple flavors, with some spices. Not a lot of beer like quality in this one. It reminds me more of a semi sweet fairly dry cider. Nice carbonation. Nice crisp apple flavors. So does one rate this as a fruit beer, in which case its not going to get a good score; or as a cider in which case it would get better marks. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and dry. Aftertaste is sweet.

Bottled. Hazy yellow colour, small white head. Aroma is strong apple along with some sugary sweetness. Also some slight notes of sourness. Flavour begins in sweet apple with some slight sour apples in the finish. Very refreshing brew, which is quite sweet, but not overly sweet.

At Birreria Pizzaria Georgetown: As part of a flight, we started with this dessert beer. WOW! What an unexpected delight. if you forget for a moment that you are tasting beer and focus on what's going on, wow. This one pours a hazy light pale beer color. Fuzzy. This one hit all the senses with apples. Perhaps overwhelming, I could see pairing this with...vanilla ice cream. Circumstances and possibilites. This would make for a terrific dessert beer. Sweet. Citrusy. Apples. It's almost as if they brewed in some brown sugar to go with it. For the style, this is terrific.

I like apples, especially in the Fall season. Well it's September, and I'm head over heels with Floris Apple. I was turned onto it this past summer by my friend Pete. He said, "want to try apple pie in a bottle?" How could I turn that down? Upon pouring the beer out, I was immediately greeted by a smell that is reminiscent of the apple orchards back home in Massachusetts. The beer had a cloudy, golden hue and looked extremely refreshing. I dove right in. Pete's description of "apple pie in a bottle" was right on. Amazing! It's got a great sweet taste with a hint of spice (maybe cinnamon). The only problem I see with this beer is that it is more "juice-like" than "beer-like" and I could see some hardcore beer lovers being turned off. So the sweetness could be overwhelming when looking for something a little more "beer-like". I will say I couldn't drink more than one of these in a sitting. To each their own though. I enjoyed it and feel like it will make a great Fall refreshment.
