Brewed with a blend of strains isolated from Kveik, a non-purified yeast used in traditional Norwegian farmhouse brewing, and juniper berries. With flavours of apricot, peach and, of course, juniper, it's fruity, moderately sweet yet subtly bitter - in a word, curious! Best enjoyed while wondering, is it "kuh-vike" or "kuh-vake"?

Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 8 | Mouthfeel: 7 | Flavor: 7 | Overall: 8
Pours a hazy golden colour a little orange hue. Big frothy white cap, good retention and dirty foam lace. Orange juice nose with some yeasty notes. The taste is also orange juice, but milder with just a hint of hops in the finish. A tad dryness in the mouthfeel. Some pineapples come out in the smell with mangoes. Quite a juicy Pale Ale that is nice to drink, as summer approaches (originally rated in May 2018 at original release).
