Bottle. Orange colour with a large white head. Sweet and malty aroma, with some caramel. Flavours are sweet malts, caramel and some late hops. I don’t detect the alcohol as much as the previous reviewers. Medium to full bodied. Pretty good.

Bottled. Golden colour, big creamy head. Caramellish malty aroma with a small sting of alcohol. Caramellish malts and a sting of alcohol in finish. Aftertaste is long, containing caramel, alcohol and candyish sweetness. Very wellbalanced. A bit grassy hints in flavour and aftertaste too.

pale (golden) with heavy head, sweet and alcohol-ish smell which I personally love and leads to a rather mellow malty taste with very little bite/low bitterness

330 ml swingtop bottle, bought in Germany. Golden colour, fizzy, large head. Fairly strong sweet and alcoholic aroma, notes of molasses and ammonium, hints of oak and fermenting fruits, not very pleasant. Flavour is malty, too alcoholic and sweet, low bitterness. Pale strong lagers rarely make me happy, and this one is no exception to the rule. Still drinkable - I’ve had worse.
