Enjoyed at the 4de Gents Bierfestival, 2013. The 33cl can pours with an opaque deep gold to copper body that supports a near white head of foam. The aroma offers up sweet malts, apricot, tangerine and then sort of a malty cereal note toward the end of the draw. The taste is smooth and rich and has a tremendous hop mix I’m really digging. I get citrus hops that grow into tasty earthy tea to midway. There really isn’t much else going on but there doesn’t need to be anything else. Nice Pale

35,5cl can from Vinmonopolet Vika. Pours almost clear deep golden to amber with a lasting white head. Hoppy and fruity aroma with tropical fruits, pine, citrus, malt and hints of caramel and herbs. Somewhat sweet and quite fruity with a pleasantly citric and bitter finish. Medium body with fairly average carbonation. Nice APA.

April 2017: Rerate, 355 ml can, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger ABV is 5.5%. Deep golden colour, large white head. Sweetish aroma of fruity American hops, notes of oranges and tropical fruits. Slightly sweet flavour, followed by distinct hoppy notes, with oranges, grapefruit and resin. Bitter finish. Original rating: 330 ml can, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken, ABV is 5.5%. Deep golden colour, slightly hazy. Moderate white head. Sweetish aroma of fruity American hops, hints of orange marmalade. Medium sweet flavour, notes of orangey and grapefruity hops, some pine too,

Pours clear amber with a thick and frothy eggshell head. Aroma is crisp and malty with an underpinning of pear. Flavor adds bitter hops to the mix, still nothing special but palatable. Mouthfeel has OK fizz and not much body. Were they trying to recreate PBR? Well, it’s fair to middlin’.

I couldn't help but think about Clash while enjoying this beer. A beer named after something so near and dear to him. This was a decent APA no matter what it's called. The aroma was a little weak for an APA. Fruity with some light herbal/citrus notes...a little too light. The flavor is fine with a noticeable hop content, there is some malt base there but it is a hop-forward APA which is fine with me. Very clean, and pretty tasty.Aroma: 5 | Appearance: 5 | Mouthfeel: 5 | Flavor: 5 | Overall: 5
Pours a great golden color, that's kind of orange and just dark enough that it compares to other APA's. It has a nice white head that stays throughout the consumption. The aroma has a bit of pine, grass and touches of citrus. The taste at first, is met with a coppery bitterness. It's a bit sharp but fades nicely to show off a mix of bread and sweeter flavors. Again, fruit develops late. Mostly juicy citrus. However, it leave a horrible after taste that grows worse with each passing moment. The mouth feel is medium light bodied with barley enough carbonation.
