A murky yellow colored beer with a moderately robust sudsy white head rising above. There's decent hang time on the head. A thin soapy ringlet and light film are left. I get a bit of lemon in the nose. That balances well with a grainy tasting. Crosp, eggervescent body.

Full, strong aroma full of fresh grains and lemons. The sampled bottle was over a year past expiration date, so maybe my experiences are a bit off. Really nice, high fermented, white beer, full of wheat and citrus and hints of herbs. Colour is light yellow with little to no head. (maybe because of expiring??) Loads of carbonation in the glass. I didn't had the right glass to my use, so I used another glass. Flavour is fresh, with a bit sour aftertaste that stays, pleasantly reminding you of this drink. Really good white beer, defintely worth trying before expiring.

Bottle: Poured a cloudy dirty yellow color ale with a large pure white foamy head with great retention and good lacing. Aroma of coriander and huge wheat malt notes are very enticing and surprisingly more present then I would have anticipated. Taste is an incredible mix between some coriander with loads of wheat malt with light bubble gum notes and a zesty and citrus finish. Full body with limited filtration and great carbonation. I must admit to being totally surprised by this one; it has some much more character then I would have anticipated and a great balance between all ingredient. Definitively one of the most underrated beer I had a chance to taste recently.

Great wheat beer in footsteps of more famous offering. Same clean crisp taste and aroma of flowers. Sourness of wheat comes through as palette cleanser toward the end

Draught at Den Tatoverede Enke, Copenhagen, as Celis Wit. Lovely aroma of burnt caramel / treacle and spices. Flavour is not nearly that exciting, this is a fairly watery and bland wit.

Bottled as Celis White. Hazy yellow colour, small white head. Aroma of wheat and sweet malt. A bit sour, wheaty and malty flavour. Not much aftertaste. Oily palate.

Wherever Pierre Celis makes a witbier people are sure to flock. This is his latest version using his world famous recipe - back in the US with a new name. Clean citrus aroma comes from this pale yellow brew. The beer is light in your mouth with a punch of sour citrus flavors up front. The wheat shows itself towards the end and the finish is sour with a bit of bitterness. You feel like you can drink a dozen of these - an awesome witbier.
