Truly a one-of-a-kind. We balance coffee-like, dark roasted malts with the sweet, seductive flavor of vanilla beans. The result? A deliciously unique flavor.

Pours a very dark caramel color with a one finger off white head that goes down fairly quickly. Not much carbonation. Aroma is heavily roasted and slightly sweet. Taste is subdued. Hints of dark malts with a slight vanilla sweetness. A little on the creamy side. Not much to write home about.

Dark brown pour with a thin, off-white head. Aroma of roasted malts, nuts, chocolate, vanilla and a touch of coffee. Taste is similar with the vanilla sweetness becoming more prominent. A little more body would make this better.

12 oz bottle. Pours brown with a thinnish meringue tan head that goes to a thin film and leaves a little lacing.
The aroma is sweet nutty malts and lots of vanilla and some lactose.
The flavor is sweet sugary nutty malts with some acidic vanilla and a little plastic roast in the finish. The mouthfeel is a bit on the thin and watery side.
Overall, lots of sweet vanilla with some off notes that become more pronounced the more I drink. -

A nice dark brown pour with a creamy tan head. Nice roasted character to the aroma with nut, chocolate and vanilla in the mix. Flavour is sweet and smooth with chocolate and vanilla competing in their long standing historical battle

Poured a dark brown color with okay head. Aroma was mostly a nice coffee. Flavor was a nice blend of coffee and vanilla. Thin for this style. Good beer though.

Pours deep dark brown color, nice fluffy head and decent lacing. Strong coffee aroma. Deep coffee flavor with chocolate undertones and prominent vanilla presence. Good beer.

Poured a dark brown color. The aroma was coffee with touches of chocolate. The flavor was coffee, very nice vanilla, and a touch of chocolate underneath. The flavors melded together very nicely, a great idea, yet the depth just wasn't there. This one needed more malty richness to be excellent. The mouthfeel was light for a porter, a little watery.

Sampled at Lazlo's. Poured a clear, purplish-brown color with an small, almond head. Slighty vanilla was a toffee and coffee aroma to it. This was very, very sweet, almost like a vanilla milkshake. Did not taste like a porter to me. Not horrible, but definitely not one of my favorites.
