Also for “The Wheat Beer Company.” Another southern German-style wheat beer, a bit stronger and more robust than the hefeweizen; also has a hint of coriander.

here's one that really wasn't worth trying. nothing stands out. the flavors are standard for the style, as was the aroma, but were all a little muted and/or stale.

well you have to rate beers according to there style. My 33(fl oz) of "BIG ASS BOCK" was about how i expected it to be, it had been in the fridge for awhile due to my lack of interest in it.(i don't know why i bought it, lol). Anyways this Weizen Bock poured a dark golden color, with a medium white head that in my glass left no lace. the head diminished quickly i might add. the aroma was not as bad as a bar urinal, as stoutlover put it, but it was sub par for the style of beer. Weizen bocks are brewed anywhere from 50-70% wheat malts and the rest barley malts,(German Law) intersting fact. this one just isn't sweet enough for me. the flavor was somewhat florally with hints of grapefruit. this beer was an interesting try but also that only time i will ever have it, i hope.

Poured a cloudy amber color, short lived head, mouthfeel is good but aroma is weak. Somewhat citrus after taste, not one to put on my list to sample again.

Pours with orange-gold body topped by a thin head with little lacing. It’s slightly sweet yet bitter with a slight fowery note and a slight mustiness. Medium bodied and smoth with a touch of dryness.

This was labeld Duke's Dodgerhator, so the brewer either changed the name or distributes this under this name in different areas (namely NorCal?). Anyways, this beer was a mess. Aroma was horrible. It reminded me of going into the bathroom in a bar and smelling that godawful urinal smell. Appearance was nice enough with a copper color that wasn't too dark or light, with a nice head. Mouthfeel was medium bodied. Flavor wasn't any better than the flavor with scorched sugar and wet cardboard. Pretty horrible.

Tasted as Dodgerhater Weizenbock. Medium amber color. Small head. Aroma is slightly malty and fruity sweet. A light to medium bodied weizenbock. Malts are fruity and sweet. Slightly spicy with a touch of bubble gum. It’s a little dry and weak tasting. It also seems to be a little bit low in alcohol for a weizenbock. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and dry. Aftertaste is slightly spicy.Regional beer, I doubt that this one will be a big hit in L.A, unless they call it Gianthater!
