A deep ruby red, a rich malt flavor and a creamy head hopped just enough to compliment the bittersweet chocolate note.

The place was hopping, but the drafts were easy to come by. My second offering while visiting this jolly place. Medium bodied with a rich roasted malt and light chocolate angle that produced a creamy porter that went down easy.

A very close second to their White Mule and may have been the winner had the weather been a bit cooler. Rich malt and toffee aroma greets the nose. Smooth anbd rich without being overly heavy - medium-bodied and textured. Flavor of malt, toffee and lightly bitter chocolate.

From tap at Downtown Grill and Brewery in Knoxville. A deep brown-black coloring with a thin tan head. Very slight carbonation on the tongue. Starts with a roasted malt and then hints of coffee and semi-sweet chocolates. Nice and decently rich flavor.

This one is definitely thin in the flavor, but there is a bit of chocolate in there somewhere along with some hops. But there's not much else. It's slightly sweet.
