In a small Peruvian restaurant in Key West so what the heck..it was breakfast time after all. Faint sweet malty nose. Almost no carbonation with a gold body. Medium in the mouth again with almost no carbonation. Sweet (but not cloying) malt and cotton candy. Finish is cleaner that one would think. Not my style but really not too bad tasting. Had it with ceviche and it played of the lime, onion, cilantro quite nicely. In similar circumstances I would drink it again. Interesting that some reviews here bound lots of carbonation, perhaps a consistency issue from the brewer, if they care.

Clear darker yellow with small white foam ring. Aroma is bit sweet pale ale. Taste also bit sweet, no bitterness. Short barley aftertaste. (Houston 201310)

330 ml bottle, from the very limited foreign beer bar at the Darlington Spring Thing Beer Festival. ABV is 5%. Pale golden colour, low white head. Sweetish but not unpleasant aroma of maize, hints of floral hops. The flavour is fairly crisp and dry, but the hops are too moderate.

This is a decent beer. Nice yellow colour and pours well. The aroma is of a good beer. The flavour is a bit flat, but all in all this is a pleasing beer I think.

From Belmont Sation, in Portland, OR. Nice embossed bottle and cap; that's what is best about this beer. Poured a clear medium gold underneath a creamy white head, not more than a finger thick. Aroma was maybe some malt and nothing else. Mouth was thin, and the finish grated on me.

A crisp, clear golden-orange lager. Not much of a head. And what there is disappears quickly. The aroma is a weak sweetness of malts and corn. The body is smooth with a nice creaminess to it. Surprising for a pale lager. The taste is unimpressive, sweet and grainy. If not for the creaminess I’d rate this at the bottom.

It poured a very light yellow body with adequate carbonation, and the head was thin. Strong aroma of honey, with some grassy hints as well. Flavor was similar to aroma. Overall it was ok, but i wont purchase it again.

Brought back from Peru from my friend: pours a clear watery yellow colour, small amount of carbonation, and heavy on the malts. dry mouthfeel, very full, but not a lot of flavor. it was fun to try it anyway, thanks alyssa:)

a refreshing NO frills lager, not very high in quality, but this will do the job on a hot day...under average lager for no real head, smell, or definate taste, and its alittle to expensive..w/ tax $8...so avoid, there are better SA+ caribbean lagers out there.

I'm reaching, I really am, for something nice to say about this beer. By store just got this in, but it's skunked. It's not like he's had it on his shelf for more than a week nor is the cooler exposed to light, nor is the bottle not brown. The only reasons I can think of for this to be tasting so skunked is that it either sucked from the brewery or it's been in a wherehouse for several years before it made it to my store. The color reminds me of a Corona. Smells really bad. Tastes skunked. Mouthfeel is fuller than Corona, but not by much. Overall? Riiiight.
