Nothing can last forever, but you'll wish this beer could. The Rule Against Perpetuities is an imperial milk stout that spent 9 months in an H. Clark Distillery (Thompson's Station, TN) Black & Tan whiskey barrel. The vanilla, chocolate, and whiskey notes of the barrel really explode in this big stout. It is thick, rich, and finishes with a smoothness that belies its double digit ABV. All you need to enjoy this stout is to be a life in being plus 21 years!
